Javea Netball Club is well-established and has hosted many tours with British teams. It
is made up of local Spanish and British
ex-pat players ranging from 15 to mid-50s.
By UK standards they are roughly 2nd to
3rd division and many of their players have
competed at a high standard in the UK in
the past. Javea is a truly beautiful part
of Spain with a great year-round climate,
sandy beaches, mountain backdrops, great
restaurants, good nightlife and friendly
locals.
Teams are accommodated in luxury villas with their own swimming pools and extensive welcome packs. cars are hired for the groups to allow flxibility and independence. A hotel and coach transfer option is also available. 2 tournaments are played over the weekend, culminating in a reception buffet dinner on the Sunday night overlooking the bar in one of Javea's most popular restaurants and night spots.
Most teams arrive on Friday nights although some prefer to come on the Thursday to get cheaper flights. Arrival airports are Alicante or Valencia. Most teams head back on the Monday, with others staying an extra day or longer. Our trips alos include travel insurance and financial protection insurance. We can also arrange flights either with the low cost airlines or scheduled carriers like BA.
