Sports Tours Europe have enjoyed sending tour groups to one of football's great spiritual homes for many years now. Amsterdam is littered through it's history with great footballing names and legends. Take your pick from the 70's generations of Cruyff, Krol etc, throuugh the Gullit, Van Basten, Rickjeard era, through to the more recent crop of Van Nistlerooy, Edgar Davids and Van der Saar.
The year 2010 marks the 12th annual Amsterdam Cup. A total of between 200 and 250 teams from 10 different countries (especially Holland and the United Kingdom) will be expected to participate. The tournament is open to all teams that are members of their F.I.F.A. affiliated national associations. The tournament is held on 5 or 6 different sports facilities in Amsterdam and surroundings on both grass and artificial soccer fields.
